Fundamentals of Quantum Computing — Completed
Quantum computing represents a new paradigm of information processing based on the principles of quantum mechanics, offering a fundamentally different approach to computation. In this course, we begin with the foundations of classical computation and gradually enter the world of quantum computing. Key concepts such as qubits, the Bloch sphere, quantum gates, quantum entanglement, the EPR paradox, and Bell’s inequality are introduced and explored. Finally, the course concludes with an introduction to the Deutsch–Jozsa algorithm as one of the earliest examples demonstrating the unique capabilities of quantum algorithms.

Course overview
To understand quantum computing, it is essential to first understand how classical computers process information and what limitations exist within classical computation. Therefore, this course begins by introducing the fundamental concepts of classical computation, including bits, computational logic, and the basic principles behind information processing in modern computers.
After establishing this foundation, the course moves toward the quantum world. The concept of the qubit as the fundamental unit of quantum information is introduced, and its differences from the classical bit are explored. We then study the geometric representation of quantum states through the Bloch sphere, providing an intuitive understanding of how different qubit states can be represented and analyzed.
