In this presentation, a continuous-variable quantum key distribution protocol with high quantum fidelity is introduced. For this purpose, it is investigated how the simultaneous use of quantum scissors and zero-photon catalysis increases the quantum fidelity of continuous-variable quantum key distribution. The study shows that using quantum scissors increases the range of the protocol and quantum fidelity over long distances. Based on the results obtained, in negligible excess noise, zero-photon catalysis significantly increases quantum fidelity even over large propagation lengths. In this case, there is an optimal value for the amount of zero-photon catalysis that maximizes the range of the protocol. Additionally, studying the system at non-zero excess noise values shows that in these conditions, quantum fidelity increases with increasing zero-photon catalysis while the range of the protocol decreases as a function of zero-photon catalysis.
